Our Economics team offers its researchers the opportunity to build their network and enhance their knowledge on a range of exciting topics. Candidates are expected to be enthusiastic learners, and keep themselves abreast of economic developments in the country and the world. They are expected to be detail oriented, have excellent writing and communication skills, be able to work well in a team, and be willing to travel and undertake field research.
This role involves qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, writing and communication, and project management.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Public policy, Sociology or other related field. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with work experience of over three years in a related field will also be considered.
- Competency in written and spoken English and Sinhala/Tamil. Candidates must also be competent in MS Office. Knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS and/or STATA will be an added advantage.
