Nadhiya Najab

Lead Analyst

Nadhiya Najab is a social sciences researcher specialising in gender and development, post-war resettlement, the care economy, and livelihood opportunities for marginalised and vulnerable groups. She brings extensive experience working with both international and local development agencies, as well as government entities, and is experienced in Monitoring and Evaluations using the MEAL framework.
 
Nadhiya holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce, Majoring in Economics and a Bachelor of Communication from Monash University Malaysia. She subsequently earned a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Colombo, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Gender Equality Studies from the University of Iceland, where she was awarded the prestigious Vigdís Finnbogadóttir Award for the best final assignment in recognition of her contribution to academic literature on gender equality.
 
At Verité Research, Nadhiya serves as Lead Analyst in Socio-Economics, where she leads research and develops evidence-based policy recommendations with a focus on gender, poverty, and social inclusion.
