Dr. Sudharshan Canagarajah
International policy fellow
Sudharshan Canagarajah is a development economist whose work focuses on inclusive growth, fiscal reform, trade, and climate resilience in emerging and developing economies. Over the last three decades at the World Bank, he has published and led major policy initiatives across Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe, and in more recent years as the Global Manager for Climate Strategy. He has also held teaching and research appointments at Universities of Cambridge and Warwick, in the UK and Cornell and Georgetown Universities, in the USA. He earned his Masters and PhD from the University of Cambridge, and his Bachelors from University of Peradeniya.
