Michelle Handy is a legal and research professional specialising in anti-corruption, governance, and human rights. She brings a strong legal background combined with extensive experience in corporate transparency assessments, policy research, and regulatory reform.
 
Michelle is an Attorney-at-law and holds a Masters in Human Rights and Democratisation from the University of Colombo, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Colombo and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the Open University of Sri Lanka. Prior to joining Verité Research, Michelle worked as an Independent Consultant on research projects for development agencies and NGOs.
