Verité Research is the local implementing partner for the Open Budget Survey (OBS), the world’s only independent, comparative assessment of the three pillars of public budget accountability: transparency, oversight and public participation. The survey assesses budget documents (assessed through Open Budget Index), public participation and oversight of the government budget cycle. For two consecutive budget cycles, Verité conducted the survey for Sri Lanka and disseminated the findings through press conferences, articles and social media.
