Over the course of his career, Michael Roberts has amassed a valuable collection of essays, books, pamphlets, newspaper cuttings and letters on Sri Lanka’s rich history. From ancient legends to ethnic identity, from communal violence to cricket, this collection provides a lens into an era that changed the fabric of Sri Lanka forever. Michael is now distributing this collection across public institutions in Sri Lanka so that it can be preserved and used by generations to come. This project requires funding from those who recognise its remarkable value.
Verité Research has been entrusted with carrying out Michael’s vision on the ground. Any donation, big or small, is welcome, and will be used to catalog, distribute and digitalise the collection.
